Ahhh! How beautiful ! Absolutely love your style, Cheryl! You are a great artist! My dog is seriously ill, and I cannot think of anything else but him. To say nothing of painting myself I cannot even carefully watch the videos on your channel, but just 10 min of watching videos with your art do me a lot of good

I’m so sorry your dog is so ill. Our animals are such a part of her life. They’re quiet little angels. I will be saying a prayer for you and your dog my diva as you’ve seen her in my videos once in a while is 19. I know how close we can be with our animals they’re precious to us. Let art heal you when you can, thank you for being a part of my journey and watching my videos when you’re sad it means a lot to me again. I’m thinking of you as I know this is a hard time for you.

I tried to pick good music!!! It takes time and I try to keep it low enough to not interfere with my talking, so thank you for commenting. Using dirty water is so much fun. It is something easy enough to have nice results so I hope you do try it. Merry Christmas to you Peggy

Great video Cheryl and hello Diva lol , I used dirty water after you mentioned it in one of your previous videos and loved using it, I'm loving the minimalist look at the moment .one of these paintings I could see a dog's head on the right side and a black cats head on the other side, it's funny the different things that we see, and my favourite colours too, love them ❤

my husband sees figures in my art... i never see figures, I see shapes. I have a friend too that sees shapes and animals!!!

If I wanted to do this on canvas would u recommend primed or raw canvas?

it depends on what you might want as your final look. Primed canvas will not allow as much seeping into the weave but many like the smooth look of that. I love the raw canvas and the weave look even showing in places. The more liquid the pigment is, the more seeping it will get into the weave!! didnt the gallery carry insurance??

they did finally pay me for the painting! I would have taken just the cost of the canvas to replace, but they did the right thing!!! I did learn many places want the artist to have their own insurance. The shipping company should have paid, but they did not wrap the painting correctly, so I am thinking they denied payment. When I ship a painting, I take pictures to prove my wrapping up securely..... not with one thin piece of plastic in a loose box!!!

@@CherylWilsonArt glad you got it sorted. Yes Insurance is a video all of its own I should think. Also in UK we have art exhibitions at home and normal home insurance doesnt cover public liability insurance for commercial exhibitions. There are many pitfalls.

@a705fay many here cover things like injury to people you hire etc but not the art. I think I did research and the actual art part would have been really expensive and hard to get!
