As always, I love what you created! Regarding my own creations, I would feel constricted being limited to 1 "style." I like playing around & doing something different from time-to-time & because I'm new to abstracts (2 yrs) & have a lot to learn, but my feeling is whatever I make is "my style." Kind of like cooking, I love to experiment with Chinese, Indian, Thai, etc, but all is cooked in "my style." For me, art is just so much fun!!

Hi, Cheryl....thanks for this info. However, I found long ago that it is better to dry your brushes upside down from the way you have them. If the brush is up, water runs down into the metal feral and rusts it, and it can allow brush hairs or fibers to become loose and end up in your paint on the canvas. I try to dry mine with the brush end down - I have a piece of styrofoam mounted to the bottom of a shelf and I stick the other end of the brush in that to hang down to dry. I just replace the styrofoam when it gets too full of holes to hold any brushes. Love your channel and watch you all the time - think you are very talented!

Canvas board same as canvas panel?
@CherylWilsonArt18 күн бұрын
I called them the same thing. They cost significantly less than stretched canvas though they are the same quality canvas, just mounted on board. So many call them a canvas panel. As opposed to stretched Canvas which is on wooden mounts. Then there are Wooden Panels, which are wood. They also can be thinner. I love painting on them but they need to have a gesso coat first. did that answer your question enough?

How do you tear the paper
@CherylWilsonArt23 күн бұрын
There’s two ways you can tear your paper one way allows the white edging to show you tear it the other way it doesn’t show so I tear it both ways to allow a mixture of both looks in my art. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if it doesn’t.
