Brilliant session , wow imagine a tuna off chesil, need the paddle board to follow it lol, That row over is a killer lol
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
That would be insane! I have no idea how you'd even begin to control a fish like that from the shore! Think I'll stick to mackerel!

Excellent watch, very entertaining pair you make and great fishing - that's how fishing should always be 👏

Excellent viewing sir you seem to capture the essence of fishing, great company, lots of fish lots of food (how big is that cool box) and a mistery fish, that's what makes us go back again,,,and again brilliant mate thank you

You were rather coy when you mentioned you'd been to Chesil the other day! But, what a fantastic session and another really good video. Felix and I were really gutted for Darren. He'll land the next one and it'll be even bigger, no doubt. Thanks again for all you do - it's reinvigorated my life long love of fishing and inspired my son, who is a bonafide addict now.
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
Hey, that's great to hear! I hope you both enjoy your fishing as much as I do! I've been a full on addict for a long time now! I fear I'll never grow out of it!

Great video again Tom, just wondering what your thoughts are on re freezing baits you don't use on a session?
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
I do that quite a lot. Oily fish, such as mackerel and sandeel, can go a bit mushy, though, so plenty of bait elastic will be needed next time out. If you're refreezing mackerel, lightly salt the fillets first, this will toughen them up. Squid is excellent, possibly actually better, when refrozen. Pink squid has accounted for so many of my fish in the past, especially bream and rays. Most people who say you can't either have a vested interest (dodgy tackle dealers, they're all the same), or haven't actually done it.

Love it chaps. love the banter. Tom, i just bought that bait elastic tube thing you use in this video. how the hell do you thread the elastic back through the cap when it pulls through!!!
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
I blow it through mate. So take lid off, stuff a load if elastic in the lid, open it fully and blow it through. Don't suck it, it'll taste disgusting 🤣🤣🤢🤢
Well done .shame about the ray do you think it was an undulate?
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
I think it was too angry for an Undy. They quite often come in like a sack of weed!

Nice session Tom ,unlucky on the ray Darren, Tom what rod and reel setup do you use
@christchurchanglingcentre5428Ай бұрын
My absolute fav by far is my Veret Syria 435 twinned with a Shimano Bull's Eye 9100. Just the best rod I've ever had the pleasure of using.
