Remember rugby is a world wide sport played in different leagues across different time zones and hemispheres and through the whole year, so it isn’t like American Football where every top player appears in the same competition. I’m sure someone will come up with a nomination for the fastest player though.

So Rugby Union is played with 15 players each side over 80 mims, there is a version of the game that's played called 7s. 7's is played 7 a side 14 mins on a full pitch and is a fantastic spectacle of rugby. As the games are so short it's played with several games in a day or weekend in tournament format (it's played at international level and usa participate) You would enjoy 7's as its a good way to see all aspects of rugby without many players blocking your view or taking your attention.
