It's actually quite a common position. Agorophobic chess players tend to naturally surround their kings with castles to provide a feeling of comfort and safety. This player however had made the rookie mistake of leaving a window open in his endgame fortress.

Mine is just based on luck but here's my answer, knight capture pawn at d5, assuming black captures white knight with his knight (based on luck but it has 60-80% chance that he/she is going to capture it because of the 3 possible captures if he/she left it alone including her knight) then white's queen to e8 check which leads his king to checkmate ( because of bishop).

The chess puzzle : Nxd5 forks he queen and knight. 1. If he moves away his queen then we play Nxf6 and he recaptures with his bishop. Then we can play Qb7# 2. If he recaptures on Nxd5 then again we can simply play Qb7# 3. If he plays any other move like for example Kg8 avoiding the mate, you sinply capture the queen with your Knight and have a winning advantage

With knight to h5 White gets mated: black queen checks at E1. King has to move G2 -> bishop F1. If king goes back to row 1 bishop goes H3 mate, the only other option is king to F3, queen checks on E2, king is forced on F4 where black bishop mates with D6. Well Zohaib, you are correct that white needs to beware of getting checkmated. Many others missed this key point. Now in reality, if white plays correctly, he has mate in 3. If not, black has a possible mate in 4. You will improve with practice.

Puzzle 2: Nh5 he cant protect his knight to get capture and get mate on Qe8. If he move his knight its simply mate or if he blocks the e8 with bishop after taking night its simply a beautiful checkmate on h7

Easiest way to ensure a checkmate would be to move our Knight to h5 putting pressure on his Knight if he takes our Knight we move our queen to h7 to checkmate if he tries to move his king to g8 we move our queen to g7 taking his pawn and while being guarded by our Knight check mate

Finally, after Qxh6+, if black moves his king to g8, then bishop e6 check, king f8 and queen to h8 is a beautiful checkmate

apart from 1. QH7 + White can mate with other approach as well. 1.Nh5 if N*h5 then 2. Qh7+# 1.Nh5 Bf8 then N*f6 Qh7 +# 1.Nh5 Kg8 then Q*g7 +# 1.Nh5 apart from this whatever black plays white will capture night N*f6 then Qh7+# follows as nothing can stop h7 square for black

Not true. If Nh5, Qe1+ and black has mate in four. Go with Qh7+!

Alternative move (for those who wouldn't sacrifice their queen at any cost)- 1. Ne6 2. Qg7# Black's Queen may play Qe1+, then eventually take the knight on e6 but it loses its queen in the next move. It's not the best tactic, I agree, but amateur chess players (like myself) may fall for it.

No. They would result in mate for black like this. Ne6 Qe1+ Kg2 Bf1+ Kf3 Qe2+ or (Kg1/Kh1 Bh3#) Kf1 Bd6#

First Knight captures the pawn on d5. If Knight captures knight then Queen to h7 is a checkmate. Therefore black has to move his Queen. Then the white Knight captures the black Knight on f6 and if pawn captures Knight the Qh7 is a Checkmate

The answer to this puzzle is kh5 because we will offer a knight exchange. If black does not except it and play moves like queen captures on d4 then we will exchange the knights. If he eats our knight then queen to h7 is a beautiful checkmate

Solution to second puzzle: Knight e6 and it doesn’t matter what he plays (if he checks you just move the king) and then queen g7. If black decides to move his knight to defend the pawn you move queen e8.

I think in this puzzle I'll first move knight to d5, black knight has to take the white knight because we are threatening to kill the queen then queen to h7 and that's a beautiful checkmate

At first the F4 knight will capture the D5 pawn then the black knight in F6 square will capture my D5 knight and then the G6 queen will move to E8 and its finally a beautiful check mate.
