Because they are like 200-600 elo originally, so they can’t understand the advanced player thought process and how different the engine moves are. The 1500+ elo cheaters usually are harder to get caught because they only turn on the engine on some moves, and then play the rest by themself so we can’t really prove them cheating or just some “on fire luck” moment

There are many cheats, using a variety of different systems. You start to see it in the 1200 rating range. The biggest clue is the rate of play. Some moves are obvious, yet the opponent still takes the same time to move the piece. Take a conservative approach in the middlegame and play rapidly. You can usually get them.

Rd5 is savage, it prepares Rc5 to pressure the knight with rook and bishop which will be lost (down a piece) because both king and queen on the same file.

It’s the time each player has taken for their moves, in white is 0.7 seconds and in black 4.3 seconds. This shows my opponent was taking a consistent amount of time for each move in the opening as the black pieces (usually 4-8 seconds consistently is a red flag and enough to be looking at the engine)

It is clear that the reason why nerd move the pawn is to take the bishop or just move away so that the tower could attack the enemy's bishop. To make it simple, there are chess engines that are WAY stronger than people like magnus carlsen, hikaru nakamura etc... what these cheaters do is open another window/tab, input the moves that the cheater and his opponent have done, wait a few seconds to see what the engine reccomends and play that "engine" move.

Then decides to make his own moves and really shows his chess prowess and how me was cheating. Makes no sense. If you are going to cheat why stop using the engine? You’re getting banned anyway so may as well go down swinging. Better yet quit cheating and just work at getting better honestly. The traxler isn't 100% accurate though since it's not the main line (which of course is d5). And white can just avoid taking the bishop, leaving black with a worse position. After Bc5 white can play Bxf7+ capturing f7 for free with check and preventing you from ever castling. The traxler ONLY works if white plays Nxf7 and still ONLY if after Bxf2+ white plays Kxf2 instead of the accurate move Kf1.

The Danish gambit! That's what I always play! How many times do I come across this when I play online chess???? Too many to count. The stats that say only 1 percent of people cheat or whatever is bogus. A 1200 player who knows the queen's gambit inside and out? A 1300 player playing the king's gambit to perfection? No way. If a person's every SINGLE move identifies their level of ability, is that to say that there is no room for one's individual creative choices? No??? Do you know how many possible positions there are in chess? More than the atoms in the observable universe. After playing the first few opening moves, you're pretty quickly in a brand new position never seen before. Usually by move 7 or 8 you have a new position. With a long line of theory, _maybe_ move 15. Moreover, each move on it's own does not identify your ability. You can play the best move by chance, by calculating a different line inaccurately, by mouse slip, and so on. Your ability, as in elo, is only determined by the outcome of the game and the parties’ ratings. In any case, every move is your creative choice. Even chosing which opening (despite it being played millions of times) is a creative choice. Arguably even choosing to play chess is a creative choice

I cheated a couple few games before but I stopped after i got banned. I think about it now and I can honestly say I’ve never felt so bad. My friend got a notification for it and received his rating points back. I’ve cheated once in our games and felt bad cuz he wasn’t playing against me, he was playing stockfish. I just wanted to see him lose cuz he kept beating me. Nowadays I beat him. It’s 60/40 with me having the advantage cuz of my knowledge of the game. I’ve never felt so guilty in my life. I felt as if I’m not a good player and truth is I’m not. Because if you’re a good player you wouldn’t cheat. Anyway I’ve stopped and don’t plan on cheating anymore. I feel bad for my opponents cuz they’re thinking hard trying to win but they get hurt. I’ve played a cheater once or twice and understand now how painful it is.

I may have played like 20 cheaters in bullet in my first 1000 games there. Now that im 1600 in bullet everyone is trying so hard and I never get a notification saying that I got a few points back because someone was cheating

Qxh4. Threatens the knight with check. Moves the queen away from the open file with the rook, leaving the bishop, but again, threatening Qxc4+ which leads to forced mate in 4. E.g.: Qh8 Qxb4 Rxe6 (blunders mate in 4) Qxc3+ Kb1 (only move) Rd1+ Ka2 (only move) Rxa1# Instead of Rxe6 you must defend your knight on c4, e.g. with Nfd2. And now black can retreat the bishop to f7 or queen back to e7 to protect. Instead of Qh8 you can play Qxg8+ temporarily sacrificing the queen for the rook, bishop takes your queen, you play Rxe7 taking the black queen. Effectively trading the queen and rook, which white is happy to do with the advanced pawn on g7 (even protected by the bishop on b2) and king-side pawns ready to march.
