@@arkline9937 it was a bit of trick question because Sergey Karjakin was Nepo's second in his world championship match, but that year he was not allowed to play for supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The question seemed like a veiled slight at Sergey by making Nepo admit he had to get rid of him. Maybe Nepo didn't want to throw him under the bus, so he just inquired the reasoning behind the question and the interviewer had none. If she asked that in good faith, she could just explain her logic rather than give up on it.

eh, nah, not really. I'm sure he's neurodivergent in some way and was just super drained from the match and wanted to disengage in any way possible it's like watching people do interviews after a baseball game, like nothing being said really matters and you mostly do it as an obligation. I'm not saying he didn't cheat, I don't really have a horse in this race one way or another, but I don't think it's indicative of anything either.
