According to FIDE, blitz chess is anything that has 10 minutes or less per player. USCF has designated that blitz chess time controls are between 5 and 10 minutes per player. When you reach 2000, doing it again in blitz using 5 minutes should be easy.

On the two names, the military government of Burma renamed the country to Myanmar in 1989 to renew their image internationally and push for unity. It was also to suppress democratic uprisings and ethic diversity. In the Burmese language Myanmar is just a more formal version of the word Burma with the same origin Mranma so it was more of a political thing.

Much more 'good stuff' than 'bad stuff' in both of those games - but, unfortunately, it was the little bit of bad stuff that led to the L in Game 1 and nearly also landed another L in Game 2. It's such a shame that these 1-move errors are persistently impacting on your results. In a recent video where you showed part of a session with one of your coaches, he said that he had identified a problem with not taking sufficiently into account your opponents' plans and threats - and I've noticed that Levy Rosman regularly says that one-move blunders can very effectively be avoided by doing a quick 1 or 2 second check (after every single move of one's opponents) of all potential moves of each of your opponents' major pieces. He calls it "checking what your opponents' pieces can see" if I remember correctly. I definitely have a tendency to make one-move blunders but I have noticed that when I do this quick check, these demoralising blunders reduce dramatically. Of course, I don't always remember to do it - and then it's a different story altogether! Anyway, thanks for continuing to share your journey with us all; your videos are always enjoyable to watch and we're all looking forward to that deserved surge to 1900 (at least) which is overdue. Keep the faith!
