Chess LEAPERS Explained

The explanation is purely from memory. Sorry for not uploading for a while. We had a ton of year-end programs and random stuff at school, so I was a bit busy.
Leapers are pieces that travel from their current position to another position without affecting or being affected by any pieces on any squares that may block the traveling piece.
Sorry for not uploading yesterday. There was a lot of year-end stuff at school and I was very busy.

I first was like "but dragons can fly and therefore leap :/" But then I realized it's probably because of Xiangqi and Chinese Dragons kinda don't fly. But then again they do, just without wings. Then I realized as long as the name and design is cool it's cool to me and I probably shouldn't be too much of a nerd lmao

i would't consider the pawn a leaper as they can't move if there is someone in front of it

Yeah, only it’s first step, but then again, the king can’t capture a piece if it’s protected.

The pawn is only a leaper after it has moved. It isn't a leaper on its first move but rather a mW2f+cFf piece.

The dragon knight can "leap" if the diagonal square is blocked, it can only be blocked horizontally and vertically.

They don’t disturb or get disturbed by other pieces when traveling, since they travel in a straight line with a distance of 1 square, so there are no pieces that can block a pawn’s movement to a desired square without being on that square (excluding the pawns first move that is of course)
