Vishy Anand plays a positional masterpiece against Boris Gelfand | Levitov Chess Week 2023

They played the World Championship 2012 against each other. They are good friends of each other off the board and now they work together at the WestBridge Anand Chess Academy (WACA). The game between Vishy Anand and Boris Gelfand are always very exciting and this time the opening was also the same that they played at the World Championships 2012 - the Sicilian Rossolimo! What could Boris have done better ? It seems that they both played a perfect game but the opening just gives a slight advantage for white, which Anand capitalized on perfectly.
