The Chess Olympiad 2024 is being held in Budapest, Hungary from 11th to the 23rd of September 2024. Team India starts as the 2nd seed behind USA in the open section and as the top seed in the women's section. The Indian team in the open consists of Arjun Erigaisi, D. Gukesh, Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Gujrathi and P. Harikrishna. The women team of India consists of Harika, Vaishali, Divya Deshmukh, Tania Sachdev and Vantika Agrawal. It's 11 rounds of Swiss League with classical time control.

india vs serbia open 3.5 -0.5 gukesh really shown his supermacy and kept his advantage till very last and finally won the game pragg made a easy draw arjun just smashed the opponent and easily won the game vidit played really well and grinded till last and won the game eventually. india vs france women 3.5 -0.5 harika made grt comeback from yesterday lost and won the game today vaishali drew the game after being down initially divya game was a true rolla coaster as she was once +2 then went to -2 under huge time pressure but eventually she made a huge comeback and won the game tania played really well and converted a equal game and won it other games usa lost to ukraine which is huge upset as wesley so lost to ivanchuk uzbekistan defending champions lost to vietnam today great commentary by sagar shah and harshit thanks all
