chessNetwork actually featured this same game. and on move 48. Ke5, he pointed out the winning continuation for white is actually. 48. b4, and after Nc4+ and taking the e3 pawn. White doesn't recapture the Knight. but rather goes b5. force Nc4 again, then goes to hunt the g and h pawn while sac the bishop for black's e pawn. and the triple passer would win vs the king knight.

Nepo's comments are very valid also. Nigel Short also had something similar to say about when Karjakin became the youngest GM. Closed tourneys with retired not so strong GMs are a serious loophole. Not to take anything from Mishra but he had one win against a higher rated player. Under the rules, he's definitely a GM and very talented of course.
