actually the angle was pretty good here and you can always go back if something wasn't clear, but a 2D board would also be nice. I've noticed many times that sitting at a nonconventional angle (not behind black or white) causes the mind to make errors. Things like a bishop taking on opposite colored squares at the opposite end of the board.
