This is a great format!! I especially liked a few of the times when Fabi would make a move and Eric would be able to see what he was up to and how it was good, better, or different than what Eric himself was thinking. Or Fabi might say “That would have been better”, or “we’ll just win the ending with technique”, or similar. These are great glimpses into the minds of top players.

william eckert was never really out in the first place. They mentioned multiple times that tagging on fabi for jumping ship was just troll. They also lost their top Chinese player and St. Louis is the chess center for the us so fabi can be a better ambassador for the game playing for them
