I originally avoided this speedrun series because I thought it's not going to be helpful to learn how to play without castling. First, I was wrong. There are a ton of good ideas in his playing. Second, I just enjoy watching him play. I usually have a smile on my face the whole time because of his comments.

its actually one of the best things you can do early on, because it will teach you a lot about attack and defense, you have to be pretty clever to find the only movers to keep a healthy position, I got to 2000 basically being hyper aggressive, then watching danyas speedrun to understand positional play
