@@RodovalPTY yesterday we were at a little bubble party with a few friends, where we met to collect some strange stuff that you can consume, me and another friend gave him some magical plants in return that were just starting to take off... I took the initiative to go bowling in a forest - my friend has this big house in a forest that he invaded when it was empty and now it's, after some years, legally his property after doing some boring paper work, ... but that's another story, ... - so back to the little party yesterday : we were bowling with only one ball and one bowling pin and did some variations on that classic game. We played minimal house tracks that we recorded ourselves sometime before. The only bummer was covid19 regulations, forcing me to go back home at 11h00... But I made like a few hundred jokes during that beautiful evening., and most of them were really really reaaaaaaallly funny. PS : i think there are more complexed chessgames in strategy compaired to the one in this upload.

I think a reason why Carlsen is smiling is that Mamedyarov didn't have to take his bishop, but did it anyway.

My husband and I admire Gm Magnus Carlsen that's why we named our son MAGNUS CARLSEN S. ROMA. We introduced chess to him when he was turning 2 yrs. old. This past October 30, 2016, we celebrated his 3rd birthday. He keeps on practicing chess to improve his talent. I have chess photos and videos of our son on my facebook.We hope and pray that we can meet Gm Magnus someday. God bless us :-)

When there are only two Kings left of the total of pieces, the time doesn't matter, because it is imposible to make a check-mate wether both of them, so it is a draw. We can say the time is only important when it runs out. Sorry for my English.

@Zara21R11 жыл бұрын
No. 9:18, Carlsen's move after .Rb3, he should have advanced the pawn (...f2). There is no piece to be taken by white on g3 (no 'Rxg3'), black rook is on g4 (protecting the file from checks). The f2 pawn wins the rook, and with smart play onwards black wins pretty easily. The game was far from 'great'. The filming was though. Many thanks to the uploader!

After Kxh6 white plays Bxc6. He's lost rook for bishop, which is only 2 points and he has a dangerous passed pawn on d4 with black's king rather far away. It seems unclear what should happen. What Carlsen played also won 2 points and seems winning for him until he goes wrong later.

That line does draw but Carlsen was trying to win and Rg3+ was the only try. Besides it wasn't risky for Black as he can always sack bishop for the b-pawn, White had to be more careful

I think the draw could've been more easily reached if at 9:30, Carlsen played Rxf2 Kxf2 Bxa2 then guard b7 rather than Rg3+. Seems a lot less risky.

@5men7arios8 жыл бұрын
