Thank you, ChessDawg , for featuring the Great Capablanca time and again; Capa is one of my most beloved and most admired players, definitly top three on my list of the greatest chess geniuses of all times, a natural unprecedented. In general i love the games of the old masters the most; their best games often have this flair of romantic mystique about them, far from the more robotic/cyber approach of today's masters. Capablanca was a PLAYER in the purest sense; and that is why he lost to the FIGHTER Alekhine in a brutal duel to the death. (Alekhine's collection of best games is one of the most wonderful chess books that are).

This is content from 11 months ago, but it is on point, and I'm seeing why you rate Capablanca. Many thanks for this content 😊

Capa played against the best players in Argentina twice i think and according to him they were not too strong so instead of playing strong positional chess he would just attack , a lot of people do not know in his early years Capa was an attacking demon! Thank you for the game, through the years i have been over it a few times and it just does not get old
