\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ They DID NOT DO THE BROADCAST DELAY ////// /////////// As a result, if one would just follow closely who and maybe also how often predicts the correct winning continuations or best defensive moves in "CRITICAL" times. I mean if they don't acknowledge this has ALREADY started- prompting telepathically and amplifying this "connection" with large numbers of audiences and broadcasters with attention to real time moves- just note this date and remember this was pointed out and we all knew. Not sure about first few days, as the connection gets weak when you move in to a new venue, etc, and maybe this was not as apparent. But once things have settled, this is back. I really wished I am wrong but I guess everybody knows but look the other way. But as Garry just said this is not even a WC with Magnus not playing, so yeah maybe it does not matter at all. But still, why not just put a 1 hour delay and see the effect???? ???

Gukesh cleverly closed it out with quick moves, not allowing Ding to play on his time at the end.
@pmam19683 сағат бұрын
Yeah, around move 30 the commentators were saying it wouldn't be easy for Gukesh to convert a complicated position into a win. It was smart tactics on his part to punish Ding's tardiness.

among agadmator, hikaru and this channel, this is my favorite one. i like them too but this channel provides much better quality. goes for depth and chess instead of memes
@archismanadhikary15483 сағат бұрын
Agad, though quite good, seems to just play out the moves without much analysis. I think he wants to upload ahead of everybody else and capture the audience.

Lots of tricky trap lines in this game. Ding's gotta work on that time management. He had similar issues last year. That aside, I gotta give him props; he played a really tricky game. Gukesh really showing his mettle today.

With 93% accuracy, whereas previous WC matches have had about 97%±2. Also: the accuracy wasn't the issue this time ;)
@Cynis0018 сағат бұрын
Well, if the inaccuracies lead to you losing a piece, then that is still pretty bad. The compensation for the piece was rather minor.

Reeeally poor time management from Ding this game. And unwise to abandon standard development in favor of that bishop going on such an unsupported solo adventure
@superneenjaa7187 сағат бұрын
Bc2 was the top engine move. It gives black the most fighting chance and provokes potential weaknesses in the white structure. Ding didn't want to get too passive because of which he lost too many games this year. At the top level passive play gets punished especially for black.

Match is evened up. Obviously, Ding played into prep, as Gukesh basically blitz out his moves. That’s part of what a WC match is about. Agree, Ding needs to manage his time better. Ding will bounce back, he did so 6! times vs Nepo in the prior WC match. Thanks for the good explanations Jerry!

Tactical games somehow lack beauty. Not that I am anywhere near good enough to pull of either, but I can appreciate the build-up of positional advantage that eventually leads to tactics magically appearing one after another.

Ding has getting a problem playing Bishop to c2.. consuming 29 minutes 😢.
@noahmiller912 сағат бұрын
@8:53, why can white not play bishop G5? Keeps the pawn on G4 blocking blacks bishop retreat, and blocks the pawn from advancing forward. He could then hunt the bishop (rook C1) in peace? I'm obviously missing something... Thank you in advance!
@Silvergrooves42Сағат бұрын
After Bishop G5 you get Knight H7, attacking the bishop. If you decide to go for Rc1, it's a simple bishop exchange, and if the white bishop retreats again, you can play the g5 move without any tactics to worry about this time. If white decides to stick to the blockade with f4? instead then black can move the bishop back to e4 (and maybe even throw in f5) because the threat of f3 is gone. Hope that helps! Thought it was good question so I spent some time looking at it.

bishop to c2 for ding, was a big risk, and liability.
@clydefernandes95987 сағат бұрын
When white played Bh2 on move 16 or F3 on move 17 , didn't Black still have the option of timely retreat of bishop to f5. How bad is that move ? I mean its showing that it takes some advantage away from black but the eval bar is almost even or maybe just slightly better for white. But atleast the bishop could be saved, Right ? Also worth it rather than spending all time on the clock finding other moves to rescue the bishop on c2 eventually losing the game on time.
