Thanks Alex! I moved from losing most of my games with the French to winning most of my games with the Caro Kann. Currently at 1500 so people don't blunder as much and your videos about weaknesses and positional play are extremely useful to me. Also the constant hints about my low intellect and inability to have romantic encounters adds a lot

My experience with the caro is it took a while to get the hang of it. Now its a pretty good chance of winning for me since I have a good grasp on the different variations.

something I'd like to see on this channel - in my otb games I currently play against a lot of 1900-2200 players and they love to go for 1.Nf3 variations, playing either KI setups, or Reti gambit or Catalan stuff - now Id find it interesting to see more positional play tutorials on here and maybe also 'instructions' to still play the structures you're used to against those adaptive openings from white.

It will surely take a while until I do less blunder, mistake, and inaccuracy in mid-late game. Especially in these tight space game with black. Does that good position sense of yours resulted from you drill a lot or just logical thinking of yours in each game? (Is that bcoz you remember some lines along the way or it's just you thinking ahead several steps?)

Not only do you present knowledge and understanding combined with humor in your content - games like the last one in this video - you showcase the beauty of chess in such a simple but wonderful way. Seriously, we need to protect @AlexBanzea at all cost! You get a lot of well deserved credit for all the things you teach us here, but i rarely (if ever) have seen someone discussing how elegantly you show us how beautiful a game of chess can be!

When I prematurely attackulate...and make a huge mess...is it ever okay to blow off investing time to clean things up...and instead just bounce? Cuz out of sight, out of mind absolutely does the trick of making me golden again. And my time and mental health are really important to me. So yeah...I guess it's actually pretty straight forward. Thank you so much for your help in this matter. Much appreciated.

Thank you Alex for your videos! On game 2, how do you find the plan of going queen side and coming up with c4 and e5? and secondly, how do you come up with plans in the middlegame when you have a closed possition even with less space? how do you know when you have consolidated enough and what are your pieces best sqares before finding the best pawn brake? Thank you very much again! Keep it up!

May I suggest that when facing the Panov one consider fianchettoing the kingside Bishop. That may or may not be the best idea for Master level, but it definitely works best for club players.
