Like it or not, everyone should own a metric rule and tape. Whether they are pure metric or include both metric and imperial doesn't matter. Going forward they are going to prove increasingly valuable.

Notice you did not show how you put in the second screw in the top hinge plate. Lot's of options so why not show?
