Charlie, you are SO right about that specific charity. The LAST thing they want is to find a cure or better treatment. It would put them out of work. I once ran an IT company offering to donate a good percentage of every single sale/job to this organisation. However, they demanded £10,000 upfront. It was just to be able to use their basic logo on our website, simply to recognise that we were working with them! Call me naive, but this is when I personally realised it was a business, not a charity interested in helping real people and have never bothered with them ever again! My father and many relatives passed away from cancer and can honestly say someone like Macmillan’s is a worthy, good hearted charity in that field. There are many other worthwhile charities in this area who far more deserve any support and donations than the big named, well known scammers! Like if you agree!

Me and my partner visit Chester every year for her 'Christmas shopping weekend'. We stay at Hotel Indigo which is great and we often walk right across town. This Christmas, we were walking to meet her parents at The Botanist, whilst en route, a drug addict started following us, screaming 'Amy f***ing Winehouse' and 'b*tch' for no apparent reason at all. I've turned round to confront him, but he's passed right by me and got up in my partner's face and continued screaming directly in her face. I shoved him back and he returned to another forceful shove. When he returned a third time I was ready to hit him, but my partner pleaded with me not to, so it left me in awkward position where I shoved him again. This time we both turned away and walked off, we got 20 yards up the road and we stopped another couple to warn them. Upon turning to point the man out to the couple he had completely disappeared. It was a bizarre experience, completely unprovoked and it really pissed me off for a couple of hours. I think my partner's attitude was that he was ill or homeless but I still to this day think I could have been a bit more 'persuasive' and discouraged him from doing it to others.

@@supremeworld87 I live a few miles from Chester and have been there many times. You're right that Chester is a beautiful city and a great place to visit, but it's not as good as it used to be. There are some very unpleasant people who meander through the city. Not as many as you will find in other larger cities, but they are there.
