I'll be honest, I used to say that too when I heard abt suicide...and look where I am now..facing it myself. Maybe it's karma, idk. But yea, it's not as simple as you may think. For the fact that he fought so hard and even came out to tell people about this, shows that he isn't a coward. He fought and he lost, doesn't mean he's a coward. A coward is someone who doesn't even fight at all, but he fought his best, that's all that matters

Chester and Chris, were really good singers and really close friends, that when Chester heard that Chris committed suicide and passed away last year in May, Chester took it hard, and, decided to commit suicide, on his birthday, which was July 20th, of last year.

Awesometacular Hero I'm not sure he 'decided' to end his life as such. I think it was more that he was really badly affected by Chris' passing, and then on the night of Chris' birthday he was alone, and had been drinking (apparently for the first time in 12 years, though I can't confirm that), so in that moment it all just got too much for him and he didn't see any other option but to do it. Also the fact that Chris passed away at a really crucial point in Chester's life, what with the new album and all the touring for it, which might have meant he didn't have time to properly process his grief and it all just came out that night. Plus there might have been other factors from his life that we don't know about that made his depression all the worse (he said in an interview somewhere that 2016 was a really shitty time for him personally, but I can't remember if he gave any reasons for it).
