For real. According to Wikipedia, Linkin Park has sold over 70 million albums and 30 million singles worldwide, and that citation is actually from 2017 so if anything it's understated. That is a hilariously huge number in the context of how casually he just rolls with the punches here, seems like a genuinely humble guy

I'm not saying I have anything close to facial blindness the way some people are, but there's just a lot of people out there who look like slight variations of each other and you can never really be sure you're looking at the actual person or just a doppleganger if there's no context. If I saw Mike Shinoda walk out on stage at a concert, I'd know exactly who I'm looking at, but if I'm looking at a vaguely half-Asian guy at a video game premiere, I wouldn't expect it to be one of the two most memorable members of a major band I listened to during my teenage years as a millennial even though I've seen his face several hundred times a half a lifetime ago.

@@davidescristofaros2241 despite the popularity, these three songs got the lyric that contains quite a strong message. Numb represents people who got tired of being controlled by people's expectations to the level they can't feel themselves. In the End is like the continuation of its sorrow - because nothing's really matter what ever people done. Then What I've done is the pinnacle of everything - regrets and self disappointment of everything that happened before. @@musecandle7793 no, SHE used me, SHE lied to me, she told me id never find anyone to love me like she did. What she didnt know, is how she was right. I stopped looking, and built my wealth for myself. Shes living in a motel now with her mother. Karma is a ruthless entity. Never again, will i be tricked by jiggly ladie bits and promises of forever. Forever is just too expensive. One thing i learned for all these "i don't need no man" independent women, is that i should spend my money on myself. They were right, its so much better to use all this disposable income on myself. And since they dont need me, technically speaking, they have given me a freedom that i never knew possible. In that relationship, i was loyal, dedicated to the cause. She didnt deserve me, and look at her life now. Nobody wants her. And im still doing amazing. You say you dont need me, and you arent choosing me, im out. Im worth that much, for sure

LOVE IT! I had something similar happen to me. I walked down the bar down the street from me. I was drinking my beer and this big guy sat right next to me. We are just talking for about ten minutes about random stuff. It was a little bit embarrassing that I did not tell him my name. After I told him, he said "Nice to meet you. I am Preston." I then instantly recognized him. It was Preston Lacey from Jackass. We talked for about 20 more minutes before I had to go because I had to work in the morning. Just like Mike, Preston Lacey's a humble guy, living his life like the rest of us.

"Mike Shinoda is humble and doesn’t care about being in the spotlight because, even before Linkin Park was formed, he was already making music and working hard on solo projects. What I mean is that Shinoda did everything out of love for music, out of love for the band, and not just for the money. That’s why he’s humble and not arrogant, even though Linkin Park is a global powerhouse."

That was so hilarious! I've seen it before, but I can't ever not take the chance to see it again. Mike is so natural and perfect here. Also, what's funny is that after he left the stage, when she finally moves from the center, you can see him and Anna behind her taking photos or video. Can't be sure if he's pointing his camera at her or not, but almost looks like it. Just epic!
