Great video again. Looks like you came a little early before the lights were switched on. At the weekend there is also a Christmas makers market near the new indoor market at the beginning of your tour. This has more small local vendors with a bit more unusual stuff, well worth a visit.

I moved to the east coast US in Maryland, and a close by city is called Chester! This area was settled in the 1600’s and we have so many towns named after British towns! Your Chester was a treat to walk through in your video! Loved the market.

Oldest shop front in the world dating back to the 12th century , were lucky to have such history on our doorstep.

Love it! I'm from regional Australia we dont have anything like this. So far the fudge, mead sounds good, I spotted a rooster in pink wellies on the Duk stand and the funny wool hats.

Chester ALWAYS does us proud at Christmas time, 100% come for a visit at this time lots to see and do! We usually have a parade, Christmas light switch on and usually the Cathedral does something, whether it The Snowman or Alice In Wonderland etc. Thank you for filming this to show others what the area I was born and grew up in looks like

Yum.....fudge. I would have some of that......and some of the Indian bargies and samosas! Nice to see so many out and about....no masks though! It’s like COVID? What COVID? Alas, it’s still about.....And with a low immune system, afraid that you video is the closest I will get to a Christmas Market. Thank you for sharing it. Those huge chocolate bombs look beyond amazing!!

Those “balconies” above the shops are called The Rows. Not living too far away I’m so used to going into Chester. But this video is a reminder of just what an interesting city it is. With the black and white half-timbered buildings, it’s the perfect setting for a Christmas Market! Almost Dickensian. So much history! There’s a Roman amphitheatre and a hypocaust you might like to see. Plus a walk round the walls.

A very good and presentable market right near the town hall there. Plenty to choose from, without a doubt. One thing, though, the decorations from one building to another across the streets, weren't illuminated, which would have brightened things up all the more. Anyhow, a great video, and many thanks for showing it to us.

@@GimbalWalkTV I think the Christmas Markets are on in Lancaster now! It's my home town but I've moved away from there now. I never did see the Christmas Markets in Lancaster 🎄 I've just looked it up on Facebook the Christmas Markets in Lancaster have already finished 😲they ended yesterday!!
