Steven Kim It's pretty fascinating how so many smaller cities in the Philly metro have extreme poverty/violence: Chester, Camden, Wilmington, Trenton, Atlantic City
@FGH9G4 жыл бұрын
Yep. It's really sad. Especially Atlantic City. You wouldn't expect a touristy city located on a beach/coastline to be as bad as it is, but good God, it really is. The amount of decay and blight there is absurd. There are literally huge swathes of land, and I'm talking acres upon acres of land located right in the city center where housing once stood, that have been demolished, and are now just empty, and vacant lots. Just plain nothingness.

When the cops came, they picked my dad up and went around the streets looking for the guys who robbed him, and when they saw them, the police ran their car up on the sidewalk and almost ran them over, jumped out the car and beat the shit out of them and arrested them. Looks like a good day for yard work outside. Piocking up papers, tires and mowing grass. Painting the porch and walls, The cars may be worth as much as the houses nowadays.
