You can’t beat anything with Vincent Price! Such the professional and good at being the bad guy. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece, one of many of the great Lux Radio Theater productions. BRAVO!

thanks. this was a good one. Edmond O’Brien wasn’t the best lookin’ guy on the block, but he sure had a way about him. one of my favorite actors back then when ‘40’s movies were on TV. i saw movies with Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Mickey Rooney, Cary Grant, and so many more. those B&W movies were so good (The Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden, 1955). things changed in the ‘50’s. Different feeling altogether. but it continued with the writing for TV from comedy (Sid Ceasar) to drama (I Remember Mama) and got even better at some things (Rod Serling’s plays). then TV shows changed, too. Good stuff, but different. i’m so glad i grew up when i did :)

In the subtitles there were 3 different ways they spelled Dimico and 2 ways with Noel or Noah I've seen it on tv also. On tv sometimes they leave out the last name. Thorough research would help. Good movie , which I have and this radio show. The Actor that played Dimico flubbed a line or 2, last minute replacement, because Bendix should have been there but didn't make it ? I have a lot of LUX RADIO THEATER in my collection, that show was on since the late 30's through part of the 50's. At one point Bob in the sub-title is called Bomb. At the end of the program the actors are interviewed and some funny kidding around about skirts. The following week will be featured; UNDERCURRENT with Katharine Hepburn & Robert Taylor. It's about her man that may have mental problems ?

Nowadays we'd think this kind of production was meant to be a spoof. Either that or a load of old rubbish!! Enjoyable nevertheless! (I really should get out more.)
