The lament at start over the desecration of scotch whisky, with ginger ale. The writers must have been quite the conissures of the single malt liquor. "On the rocks" is my preference with a wee dram. 👍🤔👍👍😉❤️

Sometimes these stories just change the names (as they did with the Crippen one), but in this one, they changed quite a few facts. There doesn't seem to be a convicted scientist in the real life version of this story; an MP was sentenced, but the Dr (mathematician) was acquitted. www.cbc.ca/history/EPISCONTENTSE1EP15CH1PA1LE.html The Russian informant always wore a bag on his head in public, Elephant Man style.
