What is magnificent about chet atkins rendition of this is the fact that it is not overplayed . The voice of a master guitarist at the peak of his abilities. A testiment to observe of what to play or not to play . No one was as smooth as a silk as the artist as a guitar should be portrayed .

What is magnificent about Chet Atkins, was that he was race and color blind. He didn’t care whether your name was Reilly, Greenbaum or Smith, as long as music was your passion. He also couldn’t care less about skin color and , all and any other silly things that racists may use to divide humans. Chet was a real human.

Makes me cry that he’s not with us anymore . .what a guy. Decent, and not a racist bone in his body. He was friends and close friends with anyone , as long as music was their passion . . Black People, Jewish People and Italian People. He coudln’t care less about that unimportant stuff. . . This truly great kind of human being can only be SORELY missed….

Why, oh why does everyone want everyone ELSE to agree with them, or proclaim their own opinion as IT??? so no one has a right to NOT like something? Does your proclamation hereby denounce every other possible opinion??? Lol you people make me sick. Our society has become so one- sided and closed off to Socratic dialogue and true free thinking.
