I mean let’s be real… I was there on Chet’s stream when he was showing the vods, and he claimed that he KNEW he wasn’t supposed to do it, but that he “didn’t care.” Now his actions have repercussions. It’s also important to note that when teams post scrims, they are a PART of that team. The managers edit footage to make a scrim video, not watch it raw. Chet also wasn’t officially dropped by NRG at the time of his posting scrims, but he did say on stream that he wasn’t staying, so showing scrims while having no intention to stay on the org may have been a reason Riot decided to suspend him. Either way, he claimed about three months ago he knew he shouldn’t do it, did it for about a week with NRG AND Optic scrims, probably received a letter from riot to stop, and that he fought a decision over the course of that two months to now (he claims) It’s all very interesting stuff, but my personal opinion is that he shouldn’t have done it if he thought he couldn’t. He did a lot of things in result of not making stage 2 playoffs, and this was one of them.

How is leaking trials not crazy?? He never asked permission from the players and teams that were involved. It is definitely not cool to just leak something that was recorded in a scrim evironment, that just isn't meant for the public. Tbh as a trialed player like Narrate i would be mad at chet for just putting that out there. If i''m not mistaken, I assume how it works in cs is so long as you can access someones profile you can then check their match history and then vod review games? Or can you only check the vods of your own games? This sounded to me a slight bit worrisome anyways. A large part of what content creators want about vods is to be able to review pro games is it not. A coach style of youtuber/streamer would particularly want to review pro games, and not be too interested in their own games since their games are mere ranked as well as them being a coach style of entertainer rather than a pro player, in other words their games quality isn't up to par to their analytical abilities.

I think a lot of people are missing the fact that Chet had been released and was no longer coach of NRG when he streamed the VoDs. The message from Riot says that his access to those VoDs was contingent on being a coach, and he wasn't. THAT is why he got punished. He was coach at the time the VoD was recorded, but he wasn't when he streamed it to the public.
