Absolutely. Also it felt like communications were an absolute mess and they started playing for kills/ego instead of the win. hey i’m fairly new to valorant ever since its come to xbox and ive loved the game, im just starting to get into comp and ive been watching these vids to try to understand a lot more. i play omen here and there and was wondering why you are putting so much emphasis on his distraction/blind. is his just that broken for retake or any scenario? i’ve struggled to find good time using it when i play but im not very good still lol

the emphasis was because both omens were burning his best engage utility. throwing it out mid, being forced to use it because you'll die if you get pushed while you're all alone (very salty about this one), and not following up on it. Vanity had a habit of being the one throwing it out, and s0m either held it til his last breath or just didn't get enough value due to how NRG were playing. his blind is powerful when combined with another agent's ability, but can be used for other meta-game things like zoning, faking a teleport, breaking the enemy's ankles, etc etc. Teets is being really critical of their usage because they're pro players and should genuinely just be playing better. for you, i'd say you're better off using omen's blind and whiffing/not get insane value vs holding it forever. i don't play on console but i'll hazard a guess and say controller players will probably be more susceptible to the blind -> tp behind -> kill strat. just check out any omen guide and they'll explain it better :D
