Tata me saalo se China ki hi batteries aati hai. Gotion ke saath collaboration hai aur ab octillion se kiya hai. That is to diversify the supply chain and reduce dependency. Unka khud ka plant Sanand Gujarat me abhi under development hai. Ola me bhi Chinese batteries aati hai, abhi abhi unhone khud ka 4680 cell, Bharat cell reveal kiya hai. Chahe India me batteries ban ne lage lithium to fir bhi China se lena padega. Ye hota hai technology me timely na invest karne ka consequence. India ki 1.5 lakh cars per month sell karne wali companies ka R&D me investment almost nil hai. Log tata se expect kar rahe hai par baki companies ka R&D status kya hai? Kal ki aayi Ola, khud ke battery cell develop kar ke commercialize karne ki kagar pe hai. In future Tata can buy batteries from them too.
