I am a US citizen but I am so proud and happy to see that because I am a Hong Konger at heart! I did fencing at La Salle College Secondary School but did not go beyond San Francisco Lowell High School's fencing team. The coach at Lowell High School said that only Italians and Hungarians are good in fencing, implying that Asians could not excel in this European art.

When I watch this I swear all I see is Bruce Lee. Makes me appreciate him even more how innovative and ahead of his time he was. JKD footwork is based off this fencing on guard stance. Dominant hand in lead position the quick advances all of it.
