Audio concerns raised by others aside, I was at this show, around stage right near front. F***ing killer! I'm just glad this show and the venue has been recorded and immortalized in a small way. The venue used to be a shoe store (Foot Locker with BB court if I'm not mistaken), before being a concert venue and club. The location has an interesting history with sordid ownership quirks and drama that could fill a whole documentary.

a lot of these videos use the studio cut or lip sync it. I'm surprised there's no chode going "wow great it's just how it's supposed to sound" cuz they believe it's being done live. Never sounds just like the recorded cut because EVERY artist ever has edited it for optimal sound quality in the studio...

I guess so it can technically serve as their music video. Best to have top tier sound for it, I suppose. They did the same thing for their Shameful Metaphors video as well. It'd probably be best if they titled it "Take out the Gunman Music Video" though Less confusing. Although they do sound pretty damn good live.

I've seen a lot of bands doing it recently, though calling it "live" is pretty misleading. I'm guessing it's so they don't have to pay for an expensive video that takes them away from writing/recording/touring and also takes away money from those things. It's logical and more cost effective, though as an art form, it's pretty damn boring.

if im not mistaken they even lip sync live...look up some videos of him singing and see how the vocals dont change dynamics when he pulls away. then look up another band and see how drastic the dynamics are, even pulling away an inch basically mutes the singer.
