Chevelle, Concrete Blonde, and Roxy Music to name a few. Lyrics & Rifts are important to me in my music favorites. I was & still am a BOWIE Fan since the age of 9 - that was 50 yrs ago!!!! James Price, I respect your code, mine is similar although I got no beef w the cops, if I break the law n they catch me I let my lawyer handle it (if that lawyer is good or bad and or that of my choosing all depends on me it where I'm at in life, the probable outcome as well) The cops should be called if someone expecially a child is hurt (in any sense of the word) or if a sexual battery has happened, what good is it to leave this bottom feeder in the public? Or a real problem (i.e. an armed gunman is in a building shooting people) but calling the cops on your neighbor for selling weed, dry snichin' cause u don't like how they look or your just a weak bitch is cowardly n I hold no respect for u, or anyone who u know. It's the society that should dictate the laws n if I live in that collective I don't blame the executers for my bad fortunate...it's my choice whether on not I employ discretion and subterfuge to navigate successfully; illegally, (or freely as the criminal's mindset dictates) within the masses to conduct whatever clandestine agenda I'm undertaking...if I'm apprehended, that's the game baby boy..but we need cops, no one wants a sneak thief, rapist, arsonist or mass murderer in their hood. I also hold fast to respecting your neighbor, neighhood n society as if it were my own...if I got a few bucks in my pocket to give someone down n out I've been there woulda been nice if strangers put money in my hand.... I would say they have a definite formula, but their sound changes ever so slightly. Or rather, it is a refinement of their existing sound. If you listen to Point #1 up through Hats Off to the Bull you will see what I mean. The music has become less crunchy and more melodic (not a bad thing) and the lyrics have become a bit less vague where their early works had a lot of people scratching their head for ANY kind of subject.
