Can I send my references to the interview or is it compulsory to submit on the portal before the designated deadline? One of my referees is currently not in the country. And also is there a word limit for the references?

You can take your reference letter with you on the day of the interview. That is the last day that they can accept it.

Hi, Good day...pls I received an unconditional offer from a school that's not originally listed in my chevening application, can chevening accept it as other schools I applied for gave me a conditional offer instead

When you are invited to interview, you have the opportunity to change it. Just ensure that you market the school well and don't make it about the conditional offer.
