Oil change on this sucks. Had to buy a swivel and a 32" socket JUST to get the oil filter out.

@@TwoBitSpecialist the oil change is NOTHING compared to changing the water pump. I just spent the entire day yesterday changing the pump. I had to remove the tire, basically the entire exhaust system and I had to buy a special tool that goes in the timing case just so I could change the water pump. I don't know anything about mechanic work but I sure did learn more about this car than I wanted to know.

It really is way too complicated for simple things on this car which is frustrating. Had to get an oil change which runs about $89(full synthetic) and today i needed to replace my complicated headlight. Sooo thankful for this video because the auto shop couldn't do it.

Thank you for making this. My headlight just went out this evening and I guess it’ll be my weekend project. It’s ridiculous that you have to go to so much trouble just to change a headlight. My wife has a Kia spectra that’s about 10 years old and we had to take her car to a mechanic a few months back to change her headlight because it was so complicated. They think it’s ridiculous too how they make them like that. But they were kind enough to not charge us any labor on it. Just paid for the headlights.

Thank you. As fas as design goes the clips for the plastic trim belong on a toy car, but this helped a lot. Some of the screws to the right were spinning thanks to the shabby clips, so had to lever up the trim without removing it to get to the lower headlight bolt.

just replaced both headlamp bulbs after watching this helpful video...problem is, it's currently 10 degrees here and every one of those plastic retainers snapped and broke when removing them .....I can't find exact replacements at my local auto parts store...I wish GM would have just used simple screws......anyone know what these plastic fasteners are called and where I might be able to order these...thanks....

It ended up being a fuse for me. The shop charged me $58. I wish I would have known it was just a fuse. I could have replaced a fuse myself for free.

You didn't show how to unplug those external connectors to remove the headlight assembly. My right side bright doesn't work, even with a new bulb, but can't figure out how to unplug the two external plugs to remove the whole thing to do testing.

This is the same thing that happened to me. The bulb was indeed blown. I replaced it, but the light still doesn't work. Now I have to take it to a repair in the morning to see what 's wrong.

What do you do if the little 9 little plastic screws just spin and don’t pop up? I broke one completely off because I couldn’t get it to spin up so I prayed under with a screw driver. I’m so mad right now
