CHEVROLET CRUZE AC NOT WORKING NOT BLOWING COLD BAD AC PRESSURE SWITCH
In this video we will how a bad ac pressure switch will make the ac compressor not to work on Chevrolet Cruze or Chevrolet Sonic. If your ac compressor does not engage and oyur ac does not blow cold air on Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Sonic most people think it is a bad compressor / clutch or not having freon but the fix could be very simple such as ac pressure switch. We demonstrated on a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze but Chevrolet Sonic uses the same engine.

My 2013 is intermittent. I had ac blowing cold when I bought the car. Then it suddenly stop blowing cold and so after a few months I try it and cold...but now today no cold air, just warm

@@ak23mo Have not fixed it yet. But it is 100% blowing hot/warm air so its easy to assume the compression went out and was probably just failing. Fyi my coolant was leaking from water pump and it has a 150000 mile warranty from honda. Full free replacement

We own a 2014. Is the repair the same? Is it possible to remove the switch without having to remove the radiator?

My 2011 Chevy Cruze ac blowing very low ... Like I have it on 3 cause on 4 it shuts off completely ... It blows cold sometimes and sometimes it just blows reg air I've changed out both sensors and put freon ,. But it takes 30 min or more to actually get cool and this Texas weather ... By the time it even starts cooling I'm all sweaty... I will have my son in law try this and hope it works pressure wise

Ticking is just the chain tensioner under the valve cover.

you may need to change the accumulator dryer and expansion value or possibly the evaporator core. I would first check the high and low sides to see if there is col condensation on the line on the low side. If the high side is cold then something is wrong with the expansion value. Just start there in see what you find.

I had a new compressor installed in my 2012 Chevy Cruze and it cools but when I am driving the car and I let go of the gas to stop in a red light or a stop the cool air stop coming out and it blows hot air for a few minutes and then it starts cooling again when I hit the gas but then on the next stop same thing happens again. could it be the pressure switch so I can take it back to the shop the install the new compressor I paid them $300.00 for the work.

Sounds like a vacuum problem. Like the blend door loses vacuum when your brake booster engages.
