thx. this helped me out today 06-24-2024 change one of the headlights on my 2005 gmc savana 2500 70k miles with the 4.10 gear ratio. although I only had to undo 2 bolts, I didn't have the cowling or whatever that you guys had. quite different than my other 2004 chevy express awd with the sealed beam headlights haha.

@@MorozovAutomotive Its not about the bulbs but the assy. I did it much easier by just pulling up the plastic cowling and removing the 2 10mm bolts from the assy. THEN I cut out some of the plastic that keeps the low beam bulb from just being unlocked and pilled out like in a normal vehicle without having to use tools and remove the entire assy.
