what about the driver side? I need to replace the speaker on the driver side, so noise everytime I put the ignition key to start the car or when I turn on the radio or turn on the signal left or right or emergency light, static sound is only the driver side speaker, how remove that speaker?

I know I'm YEARS late but I just got my 2009 HHR 3 months ago. Are you being serious about the speaker size? I'm going insane with the radio EXTREMELY low. My Android phone is louder😡🤬 I usually don't even turn the radio on. I need HELP BADDDD​@@nunjadamnbusiness

What's the point of adding the trim ring? Why not just screw the speaker directly onto the metal door panel? You had to drill the holes anyway.
