Great video. Here's my experience with my 2017 Impala. Bought the taillight on Amazon for $143. (There's always somewhere else cheaper.) Installation took approximately 1.5 hours because a few fender well hex screws stripped. And I replaced all rear lights (194, 7440, 7443) with Phillips CrystalVision ultra Miniature Bulbs and Marsauto 194 LED Light Bulb 6000K. The part came with tail and reverse lights, but I replaced it anyway. I removed driver side tire and used vise-grip pliers to remove the two stripped screws. The tools I used were vise-grips, 7mm and 5/16" sockets, 3/8" ratchet and extension, 3/32 hex key, and a plastic trim separator for bumper shroud.

Thanks so much for posting this video. Definitely saved me $285 in just labor charges that the Stealership quoted me 🤨. I had big time troubles trying to fit the new assembly back onto the car but after finding this video and your info about detaching the bumper first it all went smoothly. Thanks again!

This is for the ls model. The others don't require the bumper to come off

You really need someone to hold your camera.
