Man it was great to see a Silverado this time around, I’m finally getting the detailing business to pick up, in the process of doing that and trying to move to SC, this time the move will be on my terms so it won’t fall through. Did two paint corrections last weekend, an f150 and a 2011 bmw 125i convertible. Both came out amazing and we have some more people interested in having some work done due to word of mouth. How was working on that 125s paint? There are some paints that are wonderful to work on and others are awful. I’m glad you are doing more. It’s my favorite detailing project. I hear you on the SC move too. Trying to rely on anyone is though because sometimes people don’t come through.

@@P4SDetails honestly the 125s paint wasn’t horrible, I ended up using the heavy cut rupes foam pad with Koch chemi fine cut and it cleaned up pretty good, it wasn’t all that bad to begin with so we were just looking to get rid of the majority of swirls and some deeper scratches from stuff being piled on and slid across the hood, those were lightened up enough to be acceptable but I think there was one or two spots we did some spot sanding and then polished it out, finished it all up with some wizards liquid wax. It’s a car we were flipping so we weren’t going for perfection, just wanted to bring it back to like new condition. I spent the fallowing day detailing the interior. I thought a convertible would make it easier but because it’s a two door and basically a two seater with a sorry excuse for a back seat, it was kinda cramped even with the top down, but I foot it done. Detailed the engine bay as well and made sure to get all the door jams and all around the trunk and inside the trunk. Came out good. Now we just need someone to buy it lol
