I just purchased a 2004, blk, SSR with only 26,500 miles on it. The previous owner took care of it and it had many after market SSR accessories... A fun truck to drive I changed the muffler to a more aggressive sound although the stock muffler had a nice note to it...

I've owned a twin to this car, same color & year. Mine doesn't have the three little guages just under the dash, but it does have the simulated wood strips in the carpeted cargo bed.. There were around 25,000 total produced, the'03 & '04 with a 300 HP LS1 engine, all auto transmissions. They bumped up the HP to 395 in the '05 & '06 models and offered a 6 spd maual transmission option, but they are more rare. They are a truck, but it is a fun hard top/convertible pu sportster. Part of its demise attributed to less than luxurious interior quality and under-powered the first two years for those wanting a retro-looking hot rod. But it is a really fun car to drive, it has a nice rumble and super fast cars get me in trouble anyway. The fact that you can have a hard top when it's cold or too hot to have the top down and yet can have the top down when it's nice enough to enjoy it is definitely a plus. Turns heads, gets good comments from others, but for me it gives me the hard-top/convertible two seat roadster that I enjoy driving and it had less miles (28,000) and less cost

We own a 2004 SSR just got back from a 2500 mile trip had a blast driving through the Smokies down to South Carolina and back to New Hampshire. Car preformed great it's a head turner a lot of thumbs up from truckers and even a State Trooper while cruising at 80mph on route 81.

I just bought a 2004 SSR , I wanted Silver which took alittle longer to find . The truck is fun to drive and sounds great , Im really enjoying it.

Sure sounds and looks good. Too bad the SSR did not have the power to match its weight. That was one of the biggest probems for me.
