Do you have a video of installing the same lights but wired through the firewall? I dont have a factory light bar so im assuming that ill have to dig through the firewall

Bought the last fit pod lights. Hopefully I can tap into the relay on my ZR2 with those the same as you did to use just the switch in the truck

Hey love your videos, but could you go the last step of the way and demonstrate the turning on and off of the switch inside the cabin? The same thing happened with your Cold Air intake video...would love to have heard the startup within the engine bay......I have a Z71 so these are minor things and would only satisfy my need for total closure in these types of videos! Great work man!!

Off topic, but have you experienced the automatic 8 speed transmission shutter in your 2021? I have a 2017 Colorado bought new with currently 16,000 miles on it. The shutter was bad, my dealer just tried the transmission fluid flush last week with the new Mobil 1 ATF fluid. If that fails, they may have to replace the torque converter. There is a TSB about this and an on going class action suit against GM. You can google it.

I have not experienced any shutter in the 2021 nor the 2018 in I had.

I have a 2017 and I had the shutters too. So my dealer in 2018, replaced the torque converter and did a flush.

I’ve searched multiple places and I’m getting mixed answers but when wiring auxiliary lights like in this video, what is better to use as a ground point, the negative battery terminal or some other grounding point like a bolt

The negative terminal is always the best ground point, it's just sometimes not in reach but in this case, it was.

Didn't your truck come with the off road lights? The OEM GM ones meant for that light bar with black covers?

Hay Justin, I also have a 2021 Z71 Colorado just wondering if you have looked into “Wireless CarPlay” if you have found a adapter to make it work wirelessly I tried ZZ-2 Wireless CarPlay Adapter and it didn’t work for me? Thanks for all the great videos.

Have you hooked it up via the front most USB first as it needs the initial "handshake" watch your phone to pop up and ask you to hit next or allow keep doing it (one time only) then keep Bluetooth on and it will be wireless after that

love the install but one question about the brackets that you have the ditch lights mounted to how much room is there on the bracket would there be enough room on the bracket to drill a hole for gmsr antenna to be mounted to the bracket and CB antenna on the other side they are only about a inch in diameter and 4 inches tall so max hole would be 1/2 inch in the brackets on the inside of the brackets ?

what wire from the second wire harness relay do you splice to the yellow wire. 85 Pin? my wires are different color on the harness i got im not sure what one to splice to the yellow wire on the factory sport bar light relay ?

What color are your wires? Basically, it's not the ground wire, and it's not the power wire.

I jus ordered the 1.25 “ ready lift leveling kit bought the 1” from rough country but never installed it jus didn’t feel it would be enough an it’s plastic an the ready lift is metal

So interestingly enough I've actually had to compare those two together and they are both made out of aluminum and both the exact same thickness. I ended up going with the rough country level kit because it's the exact same thing for less than a third of the price.
