In this video I cover where the reproduction seals go in the heater box's blower motor case. This is the housing the blower motor mounts to. It has a single vent door that needs to be resealed. This is the section of the heater box people have the least issues with during a reseal.
The seals being used are from the very common Repops reseal kit. USA made and has been on the market for 20+ years. It's what I both sell and use. No its not a perfect kit, nothing on the market is.
I get asked frequently where do the seals go in the reproduction heater seal kit I just purchased. Especially in 1st and 2nd gen Chevy IIs that do not share a heater box design with other GM cars. Some of the seals are self-explanatory, some not so much. Some of these kits have seals that don't seem to go anywhere... Hope this video helps!
