Chevy Impala Window Regulator Replacement and Repair 2006-2013 Left Rear

My left rear window literally just fell down after barely pushing the left window button down and won’t come back up. Going to use this for later, thank you. So funny that there is actually specific videos for the left rear window falling lol

Mine did the same thing...I heard a noise like a popping sound kinda like someone threw a rock or something and hit my car...I looked around and didn't see a thing...then the next time I hit the button the window just fell to the bottom of the door...I've been using wooden wedges to keep it up until I can get it fixed. This video will be helpful.

I used this guide, and it works perfect. For the little bolt on the side, a 7mm worked for me.

How did you disconnect the power window switch? I'm doing that now. Bugger to unplug

How did you take the plastic off so easy? I couldnt do it without ripping the plastic.

If you rip the plastic you can always use tape to secure it

Depends on how bad the parts are. With mine, the metal wire came completely out of the motor and ended up jamming and cutting up the wire. So that’s far too along. Sometimes parts will break and such so that’s what really makes the difference.

Amanda if nobody rides in the back you should have bought car without seats and carpet. Probably save money that way. He'll just board up the windows and saved more money
