Chevy K2500 and K5 playing in the snow

Me and some friends playing around in an old sand pit.
I took the 2500 instead of the K30 for a change.
The 2500 has got a 6" lift and 37" Interco SSR tires.
The K5 has got a 4" lift and 37" Maxxis Mudzilla tires

Got to love the snow wheeling. I'm from Alberta Canada, and we do similar wheeling with the good old trucks up here... The snow really ices up the air filters and makes power steering belts slip, alternators also don't like it. And if you break something, way harder to fix in the cold. .I love it Thanks for another cool vid

@smithkid1996 - There were two versions of the K2500 offered from '88 to '95. The "light" duty version, which is the six lug and the regular 3/4 ton K2500 which was 8 lug. In '96, GM dropped the option and just went with 1/2. 3/4, or 1 ton trucks. The six lug is basically a 1/2 ton, with a much better rear axle (small version 9 3/4 14 bolt), up-rated suspension, and a few other minor differences.

@smithkid1996 I have a K2500 with the 8 lug setup and cannot find a decent lift kit either. They made the 2500LD and 2500HD with the 6.5 diesels. He got the LD sounds like you got an HD just like I do

I got a 93 K2500, I had to cut back the bumper when I put on 305/75 (12.5X33) I now have a custom bumper so the front isn't an issue, but any bigger and I'll run into the back of the wheel well(front is the only issue, the back could go 35" easy.

what is done to the motor in the K5 blazer, cant tell if it has duel exhaust looks like only a single but damn does that thing sound sick, maddddd slapping sound to it, does it have a massive cam in it or its just running really high compressions? @bakedbaker19 really? i have never seen those... oh well, it doesn't matter, circumstances have changed, and the suburban will be strictly a work truck... just wish it got a few more mpg. going up mountains pulling even a super light car, you can literally watch the gas guage go down, and it has a 45 gallon tank. either way, i still LOVE your truck, good luck, keep er' in the ditches! ;) lol
