Meet my 1986 Chevy S10. This is the beginning of a build series in which we will attempt to swap in a 350 Chevy small block V8 with a bottom dollar budget. In this episode, we hone the block and soak some stuck piston rings in an oil bath.

Love those square body s-10... I had 3 of them... 2 had 350 ci and 1 had a 2.6 V6.. bullet proof v6

I just got my s10 and its an 86 too and 2wd I’ve modified it to have bucket seats and now im swapping it out for 5.3 v8

I have a 1988 s10 with the 2.5 4 cylinder. Took in 2 dodge 318s yesterday on a trade and am thinkin about putting one of those in the s10. Have 1 carburated and one fuel injected. Never messed with engine swaps before so I'm hoping it goes good. I need to put a bigger engine to pull a heavy trailer with and don't have the money to get a bigger truck so this is about the only option I know to go wit

You need to go up and down in the bores faster while your honing so you get a cross hatch.
