what would be cool is, since you have a truck with the problem, if you would do a video on you changing your heater pad and take away all doubt that you are accurate in your diagnostics. jus sayin, but that would boost the hell outta my confidence.

Your properly got a problem with the door sense try opening & closing the passenger door every time you get out for a few weeks & see if it doe's it cause it keeps the radio & stuff on thinking the door was not opened it the sensor that tell AUX stuff to shut off when you get out of vehicle you know how when you take out the key the radio well stay on till you open the door hope u can understand what I mean I did a bad job of figuring out how to explain it

Hello. I'm sure this is the problem in having with my 04 chevy avalanche but just to be 100% sure. Have you ever heard of the driver side switch turning on and off the whole time your driving? I won't even touch the button but I can hear it clicking and watch the switch turn on and off the whole time my truck is running. Seat doesnt get hot or anything. Passenger side works great.

How do you pull the seat cover off and who sells the best seat heater elements ? I`ve had both replaced at a very reputable auto upholstery shop and the heater lasted all summer ( when i didn`t need it. ) Neither side comes on now, passenger that always worked and driver that worked for 5 months. I know I paid $211 per heated pad .

@teddyhickox51452 жыл бұрын
@@thomassennott8519 my 2005 Duramax turns on and heats up without you touching it. It gets hot. If you turn it off then it turns on again. Will this fix it ?
@grantclark51222 жыл бұрын
For that issue it’s the window/door lock switch panel on the driver side door panel. Its controls part of the heated seats as well. There’s two circuit boards in that switch panel and they short out and cause the heated seats to do that. Had the exact same thing going on in my 03, swapped the switch panel out and the heated seats work like normal again

Hey guys. . . Try this cuz it worked d for me and I didn’t pay a thing. If you have your lumber out it’s messes with the connection of the heated seats. I flatted my seats and my lights don’t click no more. The heated seats turn on and work perfectly fine. If you need the lumber just flatten the seats and let the heated seats work it self. And then after a few minutes turn your lumbar back on. Also. I notice when sitting a certain way with the lumber on it will work but it’s kind of uncomfortable 🥴
@Insanity889 Жыл бұрын
Well il be dipped! You are correct. Shitting here in this pos and ran the lumbar to full on discomfort and il be dam. If my ass isn't sweating now and the damn things still heating. Humm might be from me deflating the lumbar and then pushing back as hard as possible to release all the air from the bladder. I can't stand that pain in the back but the wife just has to screw with it every time she gets in.

I had a 2004 with heated seats and the drivers burned out, bad element. Put it in and works perfectly, then the passengers side crapped out almost immediately. Took it apart and it was the exact same spot as the drivers. Weirdly coincidental and I’m probably the only yahoo that finds it funnyLOL
