To get it out you have to pry it up then out towards you, when I took it off it sounded like i broke something but it was just the plastic thing that holds it in, also all I did was blow some air into the connections, & mine started working again 👍🏽

on my 06, you have to remove the door panel then remove the screw attaching the front of the bezel.

I didn’t need to replace anything but that part flops around. How do you fix that? It just came apart one day. I have no idea how to fix it or where to even take it to have it looked at!

Stephanie Lazarek their is a clip and a screw on the underside. I bet the plastic housing the screw broke, and the clip came out. Try looking underneath it to see. To fix it you have to take the panel off. It’s not hard. Look up ‘(your model) interior door panel removal’

Mine is a Cadillac Escalade, EXT 2002. It started melting on fire and now none of my locks work on my doors. I pulled it off before I did any other damage. I think I just had to switch the whole part you’re talking about and check the fuses hopefully can you let me know if that part isn’t working will it stop the other windows from working also?

I replaced mine and it worked except my security system wouldn’t turn off so I could start my truck and a simple tap on the steering would set it off.. so I switched it back and it fixed that. I wonder if buying an OEM would work instead of aftermarket

My guess is that you have a loose wire on one of the connectors that plug-ins to the module I don't understand why you would replace the module if there wasn't a problem in the first place tho

My 06 Sierra has issues with the mirrors. They adjust to odd positions. After installing new Boost Auto mirrors, they do the same thing. Would the driver DDM cause this?

Want my opinion? Check your vehicle settings/preferences. There's buttons on the steering wheel. It's one of the buttons that lets you change preferences - don't recall which one . You might have it set for "curb" view when you put it in reverse or maybe it's a driver 1/driver2 preference issue. You'll have to mess with it.

I would check your ground wire my 01 Chevy Silverado had this issue years ago that's probably your issue that is a common problem for those years trucks also I would make sure that your door switch sensor is working on the driver side door do the dash lights shut off after you close the door if you get out on the passenger side door open and shut the passenger side door if they then shut off then that switches what's bad I also have this issue on a different Chevy Silverado

I had a battery kill switch put on my Silverado years ago, after I went thru 2 batteries in a short time. Mechanic said the alternator was good??? Now everytime I crank it, the clock (after I release the kill switch) ,etc is back to square one. Diagnostic equipment reads a gazillion codes.

2006 classic started with lock switch going bad, then the whole panel failed. bought and installed anew switch assy. would not work. upon further troubleshooting, found broken black wire in wiring harness from body to door. repaired broken wire and now all windows, locks and mirrors are working properly.

I've had my passenger side (dual climate control) blend door/actuator in my 2003 Silverado replaced twice, and one time calibrated (really such a thing?)Hot air blows out of the passenger vent when it's set for a/c. When it's set for heat, the passenger vent blows cool air. This is an intermentent problem, not 100% of the time. Sometimes it works fine. $1040.00 later it still doesn't work properly. What???

sorry it didn't work for you. You can return the switch it fixes the problem about 90% of the time.

No but I bet your drivers side door axillary power turn off switch is bad it shuts off radio when u exit vehicle even if keys removed radio stays on till you exit it is not turning off radio so it slowly running your battery dead try after you get out also opening & then closing passenger side door for a week or 2 & see if your battery still goes dead again. I bet this is your problem.
