My 2000 GV lives at my house on the beach in Baja. I did a 2" suspension lift with Old Man Emu shocks. Tires are 225/75x16 M/Ts on stock aluminum wheels. Work great.

So I bought 235/75/15 and I took it in and they said there is no way that they could fit. That the bolt pattern isn’t correct but they look the same. They said I could only put factory rims on my 2002 Chevy tracker? Do I have to do any modifications. Any help would be appreciated

No...235/75/15 is a size of a tire...bolt pattern refers to the wheel...the tires will fit the stock wheel that comes with the tracker...unless you have a limited edition(vitara) in which you'll have an upgraded 16" rim...as for bolt pattern it's a 5x5.5 with a 108mm(4.25") center bore hole...and no...not only stock rims fit these...I myself run a aftermarket scout ll rim with 38s on my buggy...I'd never go to that shop again...they're just trying to get you to buy stuff off them ...in my opinion anyway...

Hey buddy so i have a 2nd gen tracker 2003 v6. So i put bfg ko2 235/70/R16 on it with the suzuki gran vitara aluminum wheel off a 1999 and man does it make a differance no frame rub at all just passenger side on the plastic bumper the rims have a offset to em so you get better stance dosesnt feel like its gonna flip with the straight rims it comes with! Im in ajax, ontarios btw! If theres a way to send you a pic let me know!!

You can trim the underside of the front inner and add spacers 3/4" to stop the inner rubbing... I've done it on all three I have owned. You are better to get some steel sammi rims as you need the rim width for the tire... Min 5.5" and the aluminum are 5.0"

So I just bought a beautiful 2001 Chevy tracker yesterday and it came with these UGLY rims and tires and I’d really like to take this opportunity to get bigger wheels but I am not sure how big I could get or what would look good it’s stock ride height and on stock suspension if anybody can help me out please lmk

I had the same size on my Vitara and over a bump it punched the inner wheel arch in and pulled the bottom of the wing in.

@@littlemancaveontheprairie4753 , I used the jack and a lump of wood to push the wing back into the right place and stuck the inner bits back together. Like yours, mine in my little work horse. And is brilliant at that role.

Hey brother, I haven't checked in lately. I have 225/75/15's on both out Trackers and it does look like there is plenty of room for a 235. My friends kinda make fun of them but if they were to drive them I think they would change their minds.

It rubs on the frame...I didn't show it because ...well there wasn't anything to show...it touches so lightly that it didn't even rub off the undercoating on the frame...
